Aaron Burr Sr. was an American Presbyterian minister and college educator, as well as the father of Aaron Burr Jr. He co-founded the College of New Jersey (now known as Princeton University) in 1746.

He is personified by a member of the ensemble cast during "Wait For It".

Musical[]

Aaron Burr Senior is only referenced by name in Hamilton. He is never seen on stage but is mentioned multiple times.

Aaron Burr Junior, ABS' son, tells Alexander Hamilton that his parents were the reason that he rushed his studies and graduated faster than most.

In "Wait For it", ABJ mentions him again, saying that his father was a respected man, but despite this, he still died, which is one of Burr's reasons to "Wait For It"
