American Revolution, British surrender
The American Revolution was a political upheaval between the American colonies and the Empire of Great Britain between 1765 and 1783. The colonies of the United States of America, as it is now known, were struggling against what they saw as taxation without representation- simply put, the lack of say they had in the amount of their living that was taken from them. This was the war that created America as we know it today.
