Jasmine Cephas Jones is an American screen and theatre actress. She has performed in various theatrical productions and is best known for playing the roles of both Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in Hamilton.

Jasmine was born on July 21, 1989, to Ron Cephas Jones and Kim Lesley in London, England but she grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She is also currently writing a TV Show sequel of the movie Blindspotting, in which she starred along side with her Hamilton co-star, Daveed Diggs which is set to premiere of Starz Network in the upcoming years. She previously was engaged to her Hamilton co-star, Anthony Ramos which was later called off in 2021 after six years together. It is speculated Anthony Ramos cheated on her.
