The Vassar Workshop Production, also known as The Hamilton Mixtape, was the earliest full presentation of Hamilton. The workshop was presented as a strictly two-performance reading as part of Vassar & New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theater Program, an annual theater development program. Conducted by Alex Lacamoire and directed by Tommy Kail, the workshop presented the entirety of Act 1 as it existed and four songs from Act 2.
